Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

PRICING

How is price calculated?
Pricing of Impact Apparel products depend on the following:

  • Type of garment selected
  • The quantity of garments/promotional products being ordered with the same design
  • The number of colors in your design
  • The amount & locations of printing

What factors affect my price?

Type: The brands carried by Impact Apparel vary in price. We buy from wholesalers all over the country and use our purchasing power to get the best deal possible so that we can pass the savings on to our customers.

Quantity: The greater quantity of products you order, the better the price – it’s that simple! It’s less expensive for Impact Apparel to set-up and print a large number of the same design than it is to set-up and print a smaller order.

Colors: The screen printing process requires that we make a seperate screen for every color in your design. The fewer colors in your design, the less expensive producing the design becomes for us and for our customers.

Locations: Each printing location on a piece of apparel (front, back, sleeve, side, etc.) demands a specific set-up in order to process. Therefore, multiple printing locations on your apparel will cause an increase in the price.

Other Factors: Specific shirt colors, larger sizes (2XL and higher), and adding additional info, like player names and numbers, will increase the cost of your order.

What are tips for making my shirts less expensive?
By printing on white shirts, using fewer design colors, increasing your order quantity, and decreasing your print loactions are a few ways to lower the cost of your order.

PRINTING

What types of printing does Impact Apparel Offer?
Impact Apparel offers our clients traditional screen printing.

What resolution should I use when uploading my design for printing?
If you are uploading a JPEG file (a standard, photo-type file) for your logo design, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The higher the quality image, the better the finished design will look
  • Generally, a 300 dpi image that is saved to the size you are wanting printed is the best option
  • If Impact Apparel needs to increase the size of a small design to fit the parameters of your design
request, the image quality will likely decrease noticeably resulting in a blurry, pixilated graphic. We
will let you know if this is the case, but your best option is to submit an image that is the actual size
of the finished design you want to see on your product or apparel

How do I make the print color match the color of the names/numbers on my apparel?
Not to worry!  Impact Apparel stocks a full array of inks that match our stock vinyl names & numbers.

Can I print on the sleeves of my shirt?
Yes!

Can I print on the pant legs?
Yes!

Can I print on the legs of shorts?
Yes!
